[It felt... good? He had definitely spilled blood before, specifically in battle, but he'd never experienced something like this. He could feel his blood welling up only for it to be drank up. He wasn't feeling as anxious anymore and before he realized it, his hands were at the man's upper back, pulling him closer.

This was definitely the kind of kiss he'd never experienced before, if it could even be called that. He was drinking slowly, so it wasn't as if he felt dizzy, but he definitely felt something. Before he could catch himself he moans too. It felt good.]

[He is being 100% sarcastic. He also isn’t pulling away either. The thought occurred to him to ask if he tasted alright or not - more sarcasm - but it flies out of the window as need took over his thoughts. It was an emotion he typically reserved for a certain Princess but he felt himself wanting this man all the same.]

Pretty sure I was supposed to be kissing you or something.

[He isn't even sure what's making him so bold like this. It's definitely the potions. Maybe even whatever is in the air, but when he's kissed he has to hold himself back from deepening it. He doesn't want to pull away either. If he wanted to deepen it, Raijuu wouldn't stop him. It was just... new to him. He'd never kissed another man or entertained the idea. Now he was.]

[If he knew how dangerous his face was he'd definitely tease her about it. As it is, he thinks hers is just cute.]

[It's surprisingly tame, but he doesn't want her brain to cook itself so he'll settle for holding hands. He's pretty sure her brain is going to cook itself no matter what.]

[Part of him feels like he’s going to die of embarrassment but he’s also incredibly happy to get to do something so small. He noticed the feathers - often he noticed everything about her. What he hadn’t expected was how soft her hand was.]

I hope you’re not slacking with your bow.

[A subtle hint that he notices that difference. He wonders if they smell nice too.]

[ They do! Actually--all of her smells nice. ... Really nice. By now, shouldn't his senses be getting sharper? Maybe, maybe not, but if his nose is stronger he'll notice notes of fiery pomegranate, red peony, vanilla rum, and just a hint of soft musk. Good enough to eat, almost--or at least want to reel in to inhale deeply and repeatedly. ]

I don't have any arrows. They allowed me my bow, but--the quiver and arrows must have all been left behind.

[ she's been practicing her stance and drawing the string, at least, but it's not really the same. ]

[He catches the scent while they are talking, just a hint but it’s enough to make him want more. His self control must be slipping worse than when he bit her ear before. He wanted so badly to scoop her up and bury his nose into her skin and breathe deep.]

I can make you some or we can find somewhere to buy them.

[He sounds almost distracted when he lifts their entwined hands so that he can smell her wrist, palm side up. He would apologize if it didn’t smell so damn good.]

Ah...

[ why... is he smelling her wrist? Of course she hasn't forgotten that she's been bathing using the products in the house provided to her team, but--to her nose, the scent has faded a good deal already (and it has, though her nose has also simply grown accustomed to it). She hasn't the foggiest clue that Hak's changes are becoming more than merely cosmetic.

So what, then, to do about this?

... Just ignore it. That seems safest. ]

Right, I know there are shops. I can probably buy some. Although the currency here is--strange, at best....

[He speaks absently, like he’s still distracted. He wanted to taste her skin, maybe smell more. He tenses for a moment, indecisive and trying to reign himself in. Now that he could smell her, he wanted to chase it. It was instinctive. He wasn’t doing anything other than smelling and touching her.]

Mm. If you need help getting anything I’ll help.

[He lifts his head but only to chase her scent to the side of her neck. He knows in the back of his mind that this might worry her or that it should worry him but he felt like he was on autopilot, chasing her scent.]

why now???? is this because he's part cat? what was IN those lotions anyway?

Instinctively she makes to move away--not the best move when dealing with someone turning into a predator, but on the other hand--some of that might be her own animal instincts kicking in. ]

Don't worry about it; I'm sure I can manage for just arrows...

[He holds onto her a little more firmly as soon as he senses she's trying to flutter her little wings away from him (so to speak).]

Yeah, I know. [He won't elaborate that he noticed even then. He noticed everything about her, but back then he'd been content to just let her and Soo-won be happy. He wanted that for her now, more than anything. He wanted to live for her above all else. Somehow that feeling felt twisted up in this desire of his to just snatch her up. Part of that feeling didn't sit right by him - she wasn't some kind of a possession or a prize. All the same, he couldn't deny that he desired her.]

You still smell nice.

[Without even thinking about it, he pulls her into his arms so that he can keep her there.]

[ He might be able to stop her metaphorical (for now) wings from flapping, but her heart on the other hand--the only thing keeping that in place is her rib cage, and from the sudden ache and tightness of things her bones might give. ]

Then--I'll give you a bottle, if you like it so much...

[ Just please stop teasing her like this??? Heart can't take it. She struggles a little harder even though logically she knows that if Hak doesn't want to let her go there's nothing she can do about it and it's nice and warm and she prefers it here. ]

It felt harder to hide his feelings when his inhibitions were lowered to this, buried beneath this animalistic instinct that he couldn't ignore. She was like prey, caught within his hands. He wanted to devour her whole.]

No. I like smelling it on you more.

[Her skin was soft and sweet smelling. He wanted so badly to taste it. His lips brush over her pullse point, seeking out the fluttering he can feel from her racing heart. His tongue darts out, barely there, to lick her skin but otherwise he doesn't do more.]

[ She stops thrashing around the moment the edge of his tongue touches her skin--but if his mouth is anywhere near her pulse, he'll be able to feel the way he's make her heart thunder. Her body feels... hotter, all over, and somehow that makes the smell of her, of that lotion that he likes so much (although, is it really the lotion that's driving him wild, or is it... just the smell of her, at the root of it all?) stronger. ]

R-Raijuu... what are you doing?

[ Her voice is --a little fluttery now. She feels... funny. Not bad, but--strange. That ache in her chest is going just a little lower today, settling down in her belly and working its way just a little deeper.

It... it has to be because of the magic. Whatever they're doing. This was why she said they needed to get out of here...! She should insist on it again, right now, but--more than simply because he's stronger than her, she feels frozen in place, like she can't, like she shouldn't move. Like it might be a little... dangerous.

And somehow, that's... strangely exciting. ]

[The way her voice shook did things to him that made his own heart flutter a bit. She didn't sound scared or nervous. He felt like he was going to explode from the happiness it gave him that he was the one making her feel like this. Even if she questioned him about it, he didn't have a good answer.

What was he doing?

He didn't know. He just knew he couldn't contain himself anymore, not with how much stronger her scent was getting. Without warning, his mouth latched onto her throat, sucking her skin before scraping his teeth against the softness of her throat. his tongue soothed it after and he continued like that for a bit, just showering attention onto her sweet smelling skin.]

[ Her voice catches in the back of her throat, turning into a strange gasping-squeak as his lips and his tongue--suck on her skin. Her skin prickles into goose flesh and she can feel a strange coldness against her skin, at war with the sudden and extreme rise in warmth at her core, and--

there's a soft whoosh, like a flame igniting,

and suddenly her hair and the red feathers sticking out her skin are glowing and swaying, like they're on fire, as more feathers (tiny wings, really) form in her hair. She's not actually on fire (or at least, not one that seems to burn him) but she will feel noticably and unnaturally warm underneath his hands. ]

[He can feel how hot she is and it makes him feel like his insides are boiling. He sucks harder, scraping his teeth to almost biting pressure before licking and sucking on the spot. By now it likely looked like a purplish red bruise.

He moves on to kiss just beneath her chin and along her jaw before sealing his mouth over hers. He originally wanted to hold hands, not leave a hickey on her neck or stick his tongue into her mouth.]

[ Ah... it's happening again. This sort of... thing.... It's hard to understand what's happening, much less why. Could the perfume, or... or...

She makes a soft noise in the back of her throat; his mouth is as rough and demanding against hers as it was on her neck. It should be painful, that bruising strength, but--more than that... it feels good. Good enough that she forgets to worry about why for now.

She can't resist opening her mouth for him, letting him kiss her as forcefully as he desires. Her knees feel weak and that heat inside her just keeps growing; she holds onto the front of his shirt in an effort to hold herself up as she kisses back, trying not to drown in--whatever this has turned into. ]
